We stand high on the mountain
And present our sacrifice
Our heads are hanging low

Our sons bound and marred

Will be the monster's brides

The monster steals from the weak

With every dollar we worship thee

Don’t we see the trail of bones
Leading back to our own homes
The ones that we have neglected
Deserved to be protected

The waters boil as we watch the creature rise
Its jaws open to consume our sacrifice
I feel my own teeth separate in hunger
And my dark shame is finally realized

I smell its rotting stench like never before
The scent of death in the air is sour
How have I praised this twisted fiend
When my children’s blood drips from its teeth
